Richard trained with a leading international accountancy firm before joining Dean Statham, becoming a partner in 1983. Richard provides general advisory services to a wide portfolio of clients, and has built up a recognised expertise in share valuation and forensic matters. Richard is still playing tennis each week, loves to go to concerts and greatly enjoys being ferried around by his "of-age" son.

Phillip has been a partner in Dean Statham since 1990. As well as handling a general portfolio of business clients and "running" the business of Dean Statham, Phillip is the firm's corporate finance specialist, regularly buying and selling businesses. Phillip is a council member of the North Staffordshire Chamber of Commerce and also involved with Finest, the network of professionals in North Staffordshire. Outside of work - walking, skiing, spinning classes, watching football (a long suffering follower of Stoke City!), convertible cars and lying on a Jamaican beach occupy his time.

David is our newest partner although he has been with the firm for over 15 years. David has a varied portfolio of corporate clients and in addition heads up our business advisory services which give him and other members of our team the opportunity to get in at the "coal face" of businesses to explore ways to make them more successful. David loves his sports cars and enjoys working out in the gym.

Mark Gilligan - Mark is a manager in our corporate services unit, with a speciality in advising housing associations, charities, UK subsidiaries of overseas groups and undertaking solicitors' accounts rules audits. mark.gilligan(at)dsonline.co.uk
